The
Ford Bronco made a quick departure in place of the Ford Expedition back
in the late 1990s. At that time, people were moving away from two-door
to four-door SUVs. Rather than update the look and appearance of the
Bronco for a sixth generation, Ford decided it was time to retire the
Bronco. However, with the absence of the Bronco from Ford’s vehicle
lineup for over 20 years, it has made SUV enthusiasts’ hearts grow
fonder.
While
Ford continues to roll out updates to its wireless connectivity in
newer models as technology continues to advance, it has discovered many
owners of 2010 to 2016 Ford vehicles are not always ready to trade in
their vehicles for a newer model.
Ford
is already preparing to offer a different type of mobility services in
the future. As the development of autonomous and electrified vehicles
becomes a reality, the auto company is already planning their role in
the transformation.
When
you think of the brand name Ford, most people think of iconic
automobiles, quality innovations, new cutting-edge vehicle designs, and
the Ford F-150 line of pickup trucks featured at Ford dealers in Indianapolis
and elsewhere. However, did you know that Ford also follows sustainable
practices at its Ford Rouge Factory, which also includes a population
of 80,000 bees?
Long before new vehicles roll off of delivery trucks at your local Ford dealership in Mooresville
and elsewhere, they have been put through the paces at Ford’s
Drivability Test Facility, which features a wide range of tests
including a wind tunnel.
Ford Motor Company is all about innovation and public service. A new initiative with supermodel Karlie Kloss lets Ford put these two values to work promoting women in science careers.
Ford
will support Kloss’ camp for coding, Kode with Klossy, a summer program
intended to inspire more young women to pursue science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers.
While
the Volkswagen Golf is often credited with originating the “hot hatch”
category of automobiles—hatchbacks with higher performance engines and
features—other automakers have refined the concept, producing superior
vehicles. Stacked up against the most recent iteration of the Volkswagen
Golf, the 2017 Ford Focus RS provides superior performance, making it the vehicle hot hatch enthusiasts will want to experience.
Most people who purchase Ford performance vehicles, like the Focus ST, Fiesta ST, Focus RS, F150 Raptor, and Mustang GT350 from their Mooresville Ford dealership,
or other local authorized Ford dealers, never really get to truly
appreciate the features Ford has incorporated into these vehicles. Sure,
they look great and can turn heads as you drive past other people. Yet,
many people just simply do not how to get the most out of their
performance vehicle.
The
race to bring self-driving cars to market is probably the biggest
competition happening within the auto industry right now. While skeptics
are quick to point out that many of the rosiest predictions for
self-driving cars and when they would be available haven’t come true,
that doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been progress, with multiple
companies working with and against each other to bring their particular
vision for driverless cars to life.
It
is hard to believe the Ford F-150 is 40 years old. The F-150 joins the
long line of Ford F-Series pickup trucks, which date back to 1948 when
the first F-Series trucks rolled off the production line and were delivered to Ford dealers in Indianapolis and elsewhere!
Can
you think of any truck that is better known than the Ford F-series?
There is a reason why the Ford F-series trucks are the first vehicle
that comes to mind when many people think of a pickup truck. There have
been enough F-series trucks sold to circle the Earth 3 times.
As
is the case with any presidential election, the recent one has brought
with it a lot of rumors and accusations. During the fact-checking
process following Donald Trump’s attack on Ford, some exciting facts
about Ford’s plans for the future came to light. It turns out the rumors
that long-time fans of the Bronco and the Ranger heard really are true.
The Ford Explorer has for a long time been a popular selling model at Ford dealers like Community Ford in Indianapolis.
As the vehicle has evolved over the years, it has attracted a new
market segment: Millennials. In fact, this generation has been one of
the driving factors behind the recent surge in popularity for more SUVs
and crossover SUVs.
Indiana
consumers searching for an affordable compact car may take a look at
the 2017 Ford Focus and Mazda 3—both strong competitors in the compact
segment—but a close examination will reveal that the Focus is the superior vehicle, offering features and performance the Mazda 3 just can’t match.
Credit
scores aren’t always fair, and sometimes young buyers and buyers with
limited credit histories get stuck with higher interest rates because of
arbitrary rules. Ford’s working to make financing fair by using new technology to better assess individuals’ creditworthiness.
