What’s New for Chevrolet Vehicle for 2018 | CommunityCars.com Blog
Chevrolet has been on a roll in recent years, drastically improving the quality and reliability of its automobiles and winning important auto industry awards for its efforts. The 2018 line-up looks promising for Chevrolet cars, with several re-designs.
Here are a few highlights for 2018:
- Chevy Cruze – The Cruze is one of Chevy’s most popular vehicles, and for good reason. It’s highly reliable, gets great gas mileage, and is amazingly comfortable. For 2018, Chevy added a diesel engine on both its hatchback and sedan models. The diesel engine offers improved fuel economy, getting up to 50 mpg on the highway.
- Chevy Colorado – The midsize Colorado is a great pickup for consumers who need a truck for light duty that offers car-like creature comforts and fuel economy. For 2018, the Colorado gets a few tweaks, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, as well as a larger 7-inch touchscreen.
- Chevy Corvette – An iconic American sports car, the Chevy Corvette offers a variety of trim levels, including the base Stingray edition that offers a 6.2-liter V8 engine that cranks out 455 horsepower, and the top-tier Z06 edition that has a powerful supercharged engine that generates an incredible 650 horsepower.
Chevy made a number of small revisions for the Corvette for 2018, including an improved performance data recorder, and the automaker added a Carbon 65 Edition trim package that includes several attractive aesthetic tweaks.
- Chevy Malibu – For 2018, Chevy added a new Redline appearance package for its popular Malibu mid-size sedan. The Malibu underwent a complete redesign in 2016 that’s been quite successful, propelling the Malibu to the top of its segment. All of its engine options are solid, and the vehicle has a roomy and comfortable cabin.
